Our matching rule

The name number is the Chaldean root number, and the ruling planet of each number is the same as on the Chaldean page. When checking friendship, Rahu is treated like Saturn and Ketu like Mars; this is our own choice. A name number is counted as compatible when its planet is the same as, a friend of or neutral to the planets of both your Moolank and your Bhagyank, and an enemy of neither. This is our own transparent rule, not a classical citation. Spelling options: adding a or h at the end, repeating the last consonant, swapping i and y, and adding h in the middle. Checked on 2026-10-10.

An example

In one example the Moolank was 2 and the Bhagyank was 7. The first option was NEHA PATEL: compound number 37, root number 1, friendly with the Moolank and friendly with the Bhagyank, so it was counted as compatible. In the option NEHA PATELH the root number came to 6 and was mixed with the Moolank, so it was not counted as compatible.

Limitations

  • The matching rule is our own simple rule, not a classical verse. Different traditions can give different results.
  • This is for interest and entertainment. No claim is made that changing the spelling of a name changes fortune.
  • At most five spelling suggestions are shown and the pronunciation should stay the same; the first letter is never changed.
