Estimates and provisional rules
- If the birth time is not known, the lagna and houses cannot be treated as certain.
- Where a rule rests on a prevailing tradition and may change, it is marked as provisional.
- For older dates, the difference in local clock time of that period is not fully accounted for; for births in old Bombay time, check the time.
